Knowing CPR Matters

According to the American Heart Association, there are 350,000 out-of hospital cardiac arrests that occur every year in the United States. Statistics prove that if more people knew how to perform CPR, then more lives could be saved.
Although EMS (Emergency Medical Services) arrive fairly quickly in most urban locations, there are times when they may be delayed for various, uncontrolled reasons. Every minute that a cardiac arrest victim is without CPR, their chance of survival quickly diminishes. Unfortunately, almost 90% of people who suffer an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest die, however if CPR is performed in the first few minutes then their chance of survival can double or even triple! Let's help change this statistic together and improve their chance of survival. Let's all learn CPR. You alone can make a difference. You matter. Knowing CPR matters.
